Wicklow Town (“Cill Mhantáin”) is the capital town of Co. Wicklow. Located south of Dublin on the east coast of the island, it has a population of 10,584 according to the 2016 census.
Who is the town?
Normans build the “Black Castle”, that now is use like a public park. Other notable buildings include the Town Hall and the Gaol, built in 1702 and recently renovated as a heritage centre and tourist attraction. The main street has little businesses where you came can take a coffee or buy some clothes.
