This is a full immersion course. Students attend an Irish secondary or high school for an academic term or an academic year. They stay with a host family local to the school. Students are provided with the school uniform and books. The Irish education system is internationally renowned. Our students have an unparalleled opportunity to improve their fluency.
In Ireland students start school between the ages of 4 and 6. This means that there is up to a two year age difference in each school group. The minimum age is an absolute requirement and some schools even have an earlier date of birth as their cut off point for joining a particular year group.
For the 2025/2026 academic year in Ireland the students dates of birth will be as follows:
