1- BOOKING:
Bookings are deemed to have been accepted when Greystones Language School has received a completed booking form together with a deposit or full payment for the course, and has issued written confirmation of its acceptance to the Participant. The terms of booking are contained solely in the booking form and Greystones Language School’s confirmation. GLS (Greystones Language School) reserves the right to terminate the course if the behavior or conduct of the participant is not acceptable during the course.
2- CANCELLATION POLICY:
– More than 4 weeks before the arrival date: 20% of the course fee is forfeited
– 4 – 3 weeks of arrival, 30% of the cost of the course is forfeited.
– 3 – 1 weeks of arrival, 50% of the cost of the course is forfeited.
– Within 1 week of arrival 80% of the cost of the course is forfeited.
– There will be NO refunds granted if a course has already started.
– All cancellation charges apply to each person covered by a booking.
– All cancellations must be notified to the school in writing to cancellation@greystoneslanguageschool.com
– €185.00 placement fee will be applied to all bookings cancelled prior to arrival
– For Visa refusals. All fees will be refunded less €150.00 Administration fee, €185.00 Placement fee and bank charges.
IMPORTANT: please note that refunds will only be given to honest Visa applications that have been refused. We will not refund any applications that include an misleading or fraudulent information.
3- SPECIAL REQUESTS
Special request shall be communicated by the Participant in writing to Greystones Language School at the time of making the booking. Greystones Language School shall use reasonable endeavors to fulfill such requests. Greystones Language School shall only be obliged to provide services in accordance with special requests where it specifically commits itself in writing to do so. No liability shall be attached to Greystones Language School for failure to comply with a special request which has not been confirmed by it in writing.
4- CANCELLATION OR CURTAILS OF A COURSE:
Greystones Language School reserves the right to alter, change, curtail or cancel a course. If, as a consequence of “force majeure”, Greystones Language School is obliged to curtail, alter, extend or cancel a course, the Participant shall not be at liberty to maintain a claim for compensation or otherwise for any loss arising as a consequence of the said curtailment, alteration, extension or cancellation of the course.
5- MINIMUM NUMBER OF BOOKINGS REQUIRED FOR A PROGRAMME:
If Greystones Language School has specified a minimum number of bookings required for a programme of courses in its published information relating to that programme, its obligation to provide that programme shall be contingent upon its receiving and maintaining that minimum number of bookings. In the event that Greystones Language School does not receive the minimum number of bookings, or having received such minimum number, has that number reduced by reason of cancellations or transfers by Participants or otherwise, Greystones Language School shall be entitled to cancel or curtail the relevant programme at any time up to 4 weeks prior to the arrival date, and the Participant shall not be entitled to make a claim for loss arising as a consequence of cancellation or curtailment in these circumstances. Greystones Language School shall notify the Participant within seven days of any cancellation or curtailment necessitated by the aforementioned circumstances.
6- CANCELLATION PRIOR TO ARRIVAL:
If, prior to the arrival date, there is a cancellation, alteration, change or curtailment relating to a course, which results in more than 24 hours change in the time of arrival, or a change of Centre or in the type of accommodation offered, or some other change which fundamentally alters the course, Greystones Language School shall, if practicable, offer an alternative comparable course of at least similar standard, or shall refund the Participant all monies paid. Unless within seven days of issue, the offer of an alternative course is accepted by the Participant in writing, Greystones Language School shall assume that the Participant has declined such offer and the they shall only be entitled to return of the payment made.
